Description
An old-fashioned quilt block in a rustic color scheme of browns, maroons, and dark olive greens on a beige floral background. The backing features a beautiful jacquard, floral print in matching colors, making this quilt reversible.

Queen (98″ W x 113″ L)
A queen mattress is 60″ wide and 80″ long, therefore this quilt would have a 19″ drop on each side.
All quilts are long enough to allow for a significant drop at the foot of the bed as well as a nice pillow tuck so there is no need for shams.
About This Pattern:
The Basket quilt block became a popular pattern in the mid-1800’s. It was inspired by the baskets used by pioneer women in their household duties. Before it was a pieced pattern, basket shapes were cut out and hand-appliqued onto quilts. There are many different variations of this quilt block where some feature a basket handle and others resemble a basket full of goods.
