Description
The traditional Lone Star pattern in various patriotic prints set in a white background with red, white, and blue sashing. Five smaller stars are added near the top border as a decoration that lays across the pillows. The backing features a white floral print.
Measurements:
King (112″ W x 114″ L)
A regular king mattress is 76″ wide and 80″ long, therefore this quilt would have an 18″ drop on each side.
A California king mattress is 72″ wide and 84″ long, therefore this quilt would have a 20″ drop on each side.
All quilts are long enough to allow for a significant drop at the foot of the bed as well as a nice pillow tuck so there is no need for shams.
About This Pattern:
Specific to the Amish and Mennonite communities of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, the eight-pointed star is also known as the Star of Bethlehem, which symbolizes members of the family with God as the center.
